Hi everyone and thank you so much for stopping by on the blog today. I have a simple, chipboard stashed card on the blog which I would love to share with you all. My former boss Gemma had a birthday last week, so I decided to send her a card. Gemma was my boss for 5 years and she went on to work for another organisation last Summer. I always remember that her birthday is in March and unbelievably for a crafter / card maker I would be able to remember birthdays without some sort of reminder - and this doesn't always happen! But I remembered this time - so that was lucky!  I created a chipboard floral card with a few embellishments with the help of my trusty label maker for the sentiment. Lawn Fawn always seem to pull it out of the bag every time they have a release and this Spring is no exception! With approximately 80 products being released today - Thursday 23rd February - where do you start? There's are so many great products to choose from - and you just, you just want them all! In this post I give a brief run down of what products are available in this season's release and a few that have caught my eye! Its February, it's a new month and a whole host of new releases from your favourite crafting brands! At 9pm EST (2.00am UK / GMT time) the new release from My Favorite Things (MFT) will be here and they have some great stamps, dies, paper and inks on offer for this month! Lets start off with the inks! MFT have already released a great range of colours - some of which you can get in a bigger size, but I love the cubes personally and they have some beautiful colours for this month. With Valentine's just around the corner (ish) I thought I would start to make one or two for the forthcoming day - plus I'm a romantic - so why not? I have a lovely other half to share Valentine's Day with - so I hope he doesn't mind a tiny bit of fan mail (from his Number 1 fan, of course!) So here is a more masculine card I made for Valentine's: This card is a slightly less conventional size, more slimline than a normal A5 size. This card measures 3.75 inches by 5.75 inches.
