Post-Cards: Thank You

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by the blog today. In this post and a few other posts further down the line, I will be creating a mini series on cards that are made and created with postcards. It's amazing how just the simplest of paper items can be turned into something completely different. I have been collecting postcards from various different stationery stores and have found in the past that I haven't used them for much apart from maybe a little bit of scrapbooking - but I thought I would try something different this time round. I've purchased most of the postcards from a UK stationary store called Paperchase, and they are 70p each. Today, we've got some Thank You (Post) Cards -------------------- I've added a few touches with some sequins and some adhesive gems to this card. I love the silver foil of this card and the blue splatter effect on the design too. To this card I rounded off the edges, trimmed down the card to...

Lawn Fawn - Spring 2017 Release

Lawn Fawn always seem to pull it out of the bag every time they have a release and this Spring is no exception! With approximately 80 products being released today - Thursday 23rd February - where do you start? There's are so many great products to choose from - and you just, you just want them all! In this post I give a brief run down of what products are available in this season's release and a few that have caught my eye! Let's start with the die and stamp sets:    As you can see there is a lot to choose from! From cute Easter themed stamps and dies to all occasion sets to create cards and projects with. All very versatile and can be stretched so that your stash isn't limited. I love anything floral themed so my favourite has got to be the Fab Flowers set - great for all occasions and all types of cards and the 'build' element is great too. I love the Year Seven stamp set with the pinata - it's fun and playful and I love that they have includ...

Seven Hills Crafts (UK)

Seven Hills Crafts, formerly 'Make A Day Special' is a craft website dedicated to all your crafting needs based in Sheffield, UK. They sell US imported stamps from well known brands such as Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Concord and 9th, Paper Smooches, Waffle Flower, My Favorite Things, Neat and Tangled and various other worldwide stamps, dies, and papercrafts to the UK market. This site is a God send. I make at least one order a week to these guys and if I had more money I would gladly give it to them! To be able to obtain and buy US stamps, dies and craft materials in the UK without having to pay overseas shipping is ama-zing - I only have to pay one price and no other price additional to what I am already paying in postage. The site used to be called 'Make a Day Special' before the name change which happened at the start of this year (2016) They rebranded from the previous UK based colours of red, white and blue, and the site and logos now have a bright and fre...
