Post-Cards: Thank You

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by the blog today. In this post and a few other posts further down the line, I will be creating a mini series on cards that are made and created with postcards. It's amazing how just the simplest of paper items can be turned into something completely different.

I have been collecting postcards from various different stationery stores and have found in the past that I haven't used them for much apart from maybe a little bit of scrapbooking - but I thought I would try something different this time round.

I've purchased most of the postcards from a UK stationary store called Paperchase, and they are 70p each.

Today, we've got some Thank You (Post) Cards

--------------------

I've added a few touches with some sequins and some adhesive gems to this card. I love the silver foil of this card and the blue splatter effect on the design too.

To this card I rounded off the edges, trimmed down the card to fit an A2 size black card base and added gold adhesive jewels to match the foil lettering on the postcard. A simple and minimal look.

For this card I just added gold sequins to the card to match the foil lettering of the card and add a bit more gold to the card. This was mounted on grey patterned paper and grey card stock.

Cards like these are easy to make in little time, and they still look great - with just a few small embellishments and added extras.

I hope you all like the post, please do follow me on Instagram, like us on Facebook, or follow us on the blog to get updates as well as Twitter! Links are on the Contact page and on the right handside too.

To be able to obtain and buy US stamps, dies and craft materials in the UK without having to pay overseas shipping is ama-zing - I only have to pay one price and no other price additional to what I am already paying in postage. The site used to be called 'Make a Day Special' before the name change which happened at the start of this year (2016) They rebranded from the previous UK based colours of red, white and blue, and the site and logos now have a bright and fre...
