Hi everyone and thank you so much for stopping by on the blog today. I have a simple, chipboard stashed card on the blog which I would love to share with you all.
My former boss Gemma had a birthday last week, so I decided to send her a card. Gemma was my boss for 5 years and she went on to work for another organisation last Summer. I always remember that her birthday is in March and unbelievably for a crafter / card maker I would be able to remember birthdays without some sort of reminder - and this doesn't always happen! But I remembered this time - so that was lucky!
I created a chipboard floral card with a few embellishments with the help of my trusty label maker for the sentiment. Here's the card I created:
The paper pad I used is Dear Lizzy's Fine and Dandy, the floral and butterfly chipboard is from My Mind's Eye - it's an older collection I purchased years ago, but can't remember the name unfortunately. The file folder is from the Pink Paislee Fancy Free Tags Collection and the enamel dots are from Craft Works (an own brand from a UK retail store called The Works), the cardstock is from Daler-Rowney / Canford Card in 'Dreadnought Grey'. The label maker I use for some sentiments, but mostly for my organisational needs is the Brother P-Touch 80 Label Maker.
So there we are a quick and easy way to use up any chipboard to make a simple, but pretty card. Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
