Craftober | Day 3: Favourite Colour

Hi everyone and welcome back to the blog - thank you so much for stopping by! Today is Craftober Day 3 and it's crafting using your Favourite Colour. This can be interpreted in a few ways: it could be your favourite colour in general, or a colour you like to craft with that is your favourite, or even anything else!

So for me, this is my favourite colour in general - which is green. Now green is a bit of a funny one in my opinion as it can be a difficult colour to make a card with - it comes in different shades, one green might not look brilliant on a card, but some shades may look beautiful on a card or project - this time I think I may have cracked it!

All materials used:
Black card stock
White card stock
Storyteller 6 x 6 Paper Pad - First Paper Edition
Starshine Chipboard Stickers - Shimelle / American Crafts
3D Foam Pads
Double Sided Tape

This paper from First Edition Paper looks really blue, buts actually a turquoise green with light green accents.  It's gorgeous, it's absolutely beautiful - has such a vast amount of textures, patterns and vibrancy - it is stunning. I didn't want to use it because the designs and colours are on point!

That is the card for today, let me know what you make today as part of Cratober and remember it is not limited to just cards, it can be any craft project you desire!

Day 4 tomorrow, until then - Happy Crafting!

Seven Hills Crafts (UK)

Seven Hills Crafts, formerly 'Make A Day Special' is a craft website dedicated to all your crafting needs based in Sheffield, UK. They sell US imported stamps from well known brands such as Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Concord and 9th, Paper Smooches, Waffle Flower, My Favorite Things, Neat and Tangled and various other worldwide stamps, dies, and papercrafts to the UK market. This site is a God send. I make at least one order a week to these guys and if I had more money I would gladly give it to them! To be able to obtain and buy US stamps, dies and craft materials in the UK without having to pay overseas shipping is ama-zing - I only have to pay one price and no other price additional to what I am already paying in postage. The site used to be called 'Make a Day Special' before the name change which happened at the start of this year (2016) They rebranded from the previous UK based colours of red, white and blue, and the site and logos now have a bright and fre...
