Stamps this year have seen in a complete overhaul with the use and introduction of watercolour. Flowers are now given a whole new light and look so different with resistance techniques on card fronts and scrapbooking. Stamps that require you to 'build' layers and construct images are great fun and experimenting with different colours are also amazing and the creations crafters come up with are beautiful and original.
With that said, here are my favourite stamp sets of 2016

A diverse section of sentiments. Great in black ink against a white background, or embossed with white embossing powder on black card.
The first of many unicorn stamp sets. Great elements and the unicorns are soooo cute!
How cute are the bears? Absolutely ridiculous how sweet the bears are. Great for birthday cards and special occasions where similar elements are involved!
These flowers can be stamped in such bright bold colours, the combinations are limitless for arrangements and putting a bouquet together. Love the simplicity of this set.
Great with resistance watercolours. Beautiful colours, beautiful combinations.
(Ranunculus (pictured). Dahlia and Mum also available)
Love the Panda. The wave of animal stamps holding things was a great idea.
Want to build a flower or wanted to make flowers more realistic? Look no more than WPlus9. Love Altenew - but in a completely different way. Great stamp set.
Obsessed with Unicorns - you can tell! Great Unicorn sets from The Greeting Farm. Sweet sentiments as well.
Animals that hold stuff! HELLO! Such a diverse stamp set with the dies where the range of creating cards grows even wider. I mean look at the carrot and the glasses. I don't need to say anymore.
So there we are, a few of my favourite stamp sets during the year and towards the end of the year. Please check out my previous post on favourite dies of the year. Watch out for my favourite tools used.
Happy Crafting!
