Review 2016: Favourite Dies

Over the next few days I'll be posting up on the blog my favourite dies, stamps and tools used over the course of the year - essentially coming to the end of the year means a great review of the craft tools used by well-known cardmakers and designers for us to invest in for the coming year (if we haven't already), but also to look forward to the new stamps, dies and tools in 2017. So without further ado. Here's come of my favourite dies of 2016

*links are UK based where available. Simon Says Stamp will be the US site only.

Great for cards and scrapbooking - adding that special sentiment to any project. Love the font too.

I have recently bought a few background dies just to add a bit more dimension to cards and make backgrounds for cards more interesting. Love this one by Simon Says Stamp

Great dies to use on any card for layering and with an added touch of stitches too

Another classic, great size of rectangles and brilliant for card fronts and layers.

Another design from the rectangles range at Lawn Fawn. Versatile and brilliant for all sorts of cards.

Add a finishing touch to components for your cards with these edge dies. A great set.

Very different from the straight stitched rectangle dies - love the 'wonky' design on this.

Tags for all reasons and seasons. Love this set - create big tags, small tags, medium tags and additional dies too. A versatile set and can be used with a variety of materials.

Another great tag set, that's versatile - for all occasions. Great die set.

And that's my list of favourite dies over the course of the year. Stay tuned for my favourite stamps for 2016!

They sell US imported stamps from well known brands such as Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Concord and 9th, Paper Smooches, Waffle Flower, My Favorite Things, Neat and Tangled and various other worldwide stamps, dies, and papercrafts to the UK market. This site is a God send. I make at least one order a week to these guys and if I had more money I would gladly give it to them! To be able to obtain and buy US stamps, dies and craft materials in the UK without having to pay overseas shipping is ama-zing - I only have to pay one price and no other price additional to what I am already paying in postage. The site used to be called 'Make a Day Special' before the name change which happened at the start of this year (2016) They rebranded from the previous UK based colours of red, white and blue, and the site and logos now have a bright and fre...
